Job Description

We’re partnering with a growing organization undergoing a major ERP transformation and looking to bring on an Interim Senior Accounting Manager to support the team during a critical transition period. This role will work closely with leadership to stabilize and optimize accounting operations while helping navigate a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Job Responsibility

  • Support the Controller by owning key day-to-day accounting operations
  • Lead and mentor a team of 4+ focused on GL activities
  • Drive month-end close (targeting a 10-day close or better)
  • Assist with consolidations across 30+ entities
  • Partner on process improvements and help bring structure post-ERP implementation (SAP)
  • Act as a hands-on leader—balancing execution, delegation, and team development

Requirements

  • 5+ years of accounting experience, with 3+ years in a management role
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting data flow
  • Experience with mid-to-large ERP systems
  • Proven ability to lead GL teams
  • Experience managing a fast close and working through consolidations
  • Background across both smaller and larger organizations (ranging from $10M to $1B+)

Nice to have

  • CPA or public accounting background
  • Experience in construction, manufacturing, or distribution
  • Exposure to both QuickBooks and SAP environments
