Job Description

This is a high-impact leadership opportunity overseeing Outpatient Oncology operations across two campuses. Reporting to the Nursing Director of Outpatient Oncology, the Interim Manager will partner closely with Infusion Center staff and schedulers to drive operational excellence, optimize patient throughput, and elevate the overall quality of care.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Nursing required
  • Active California RN license required (CA is not a compact state)
  • Minimum 3 years of infusion or oncology nursing experience
  • 3+ years in a leadership role
  • OCN, CRNI, or equivalent infusion-related certification
  • Strong clinical expertise in chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and biologic therapies
  • Proficiency with EMR systems, barcode medication administration, and smart pump technology
  • Working knowledge of regulatory standards including ONS, INS, USP, and The Joint Commission

  • Examine invoices for completeness, approval status, and policy compliance before submitting them for payment
  • Handle a high volume of payable transactions with proper general ledger coding and accurate expense allocation
  • Coordinate recurring payment activity, including weekly check runs, ACH transactions, and wire disbursements
  • Reconcile vendor statements, investigate outstanding issues, and resolve billing discrepancies in a timely manner

  • Support month-end accounting activities by assisting with accruals, reconciliations, and related close tasks
