Job Description:

IN2 Consult is currently partnering with a high growth client in Oxfordshire on the recruitment Interim Management Accountant to join their finance team on an interim 3 month basis. The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant (ACCA / CIMA / ACA) with proven experience in delivering accurate and insightful management accounting in a fast-paced environment.

Job Responsibility:

Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and completeness
Manage month-end processes, including accruals and prepayments
Produce clear and insightful management commentary to support financial results
Update and maintain board packs, ensuring all information is timely, relevant, and well-presented
Collaborate with stakeholders across finance and operations to support decision-making
Identify and implement process improvements to strengthen financial controls and reporting efficiency

Requirements:

Fully qualified accountant (ACCA / CIMA / ACA) – essential
Strong technical accounting knowledge with demonstrable experience in management accounting
Proven track record of preparing balance sheet reconciliations, accruals, and prepayments
Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, data manipulation, etc.) – essential
Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines
Strong communication skills, capable of presenting financial insights clearly to senior stakeholders
