Job Responsibility:
Leading full-cycle recruitment efforts to attract and secure top talent
Managing and enhancing onboarding processes to ensure a seamless new hire experience
Delivering engaging presentations at New Employee Orientation
Providing expert guidance on HR policies, procedures, and compliance
Serving as a trusted advisor to leadership and staff on employee relations matters
Ensuring continuity and efficiency across all HR operations
Requirements:
Proven experience in a senior HR leadership role (HR Director or similar)
Strong working knowledge of public sector or governmental HR practices preferred
Ability to interpret and apply policies with confidence and sound judgment
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences
Hands-on, adaptable leadership style with a willingness to roll up your sleeves
Experience managing HR operations during periods of transition is a plus
At least 5 years of experience in a senior-level human resources leadership role, such as HR Director or a comparable position
Demonstrated background in employee relations, HR administration, and compliance-driven human resources operations
Working knowledge of compensation and benefits practices, including the ability to support related HR programs effectively
Strong understanding of HR policy interpretation and employment practices, ideally within a public sector or government setting
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage both leadership teams and new employees
Adaptable leadership style with a willingness to manage both strategic priorities and day-to-day operational needs
Ability to step into a transition environment quickly, establish stability, and deliver immediate value in a Contract assignment
Nice to have:
Experience managing HR operations during periods of transition is a plus
