Job Description:

We are recruiting for an experienced HR professional to join our team on a 13-month fixed term contract, covering maternity leave. This is a fantastic opportunity to manage the HR function to deliver a comprehensive, responsive, and effective HR service aligned with business requirements.

Job Responsibility:

  • Overseeing the implementation and staff communications on the new Benefits Portal
  • Supporting the Head of HR on the new HRIS project
  • Managing and embedding the Fitness & Propriety outputs from the SMCR project
  • Managing the rollout and implementation of the Employment Rights Bill changes
  • Managing the performance and development of the HR team
  • Providing managers with oversight, guidance, and support on change management initiatives
  • Ensuring the team provides accurate interpretation of HR policies and procedures
  • Supporting the management team with the annual PDR process
  • Overseeing the organisation and management of social awareness events, key company dates and company forums
  • Overseeing the processing and administration of all benefits
  • Managing all benefit renewal processes
  • Own the HRIS and oversee its maintenance, development and upgrade
  • Ensuring the HR team are proficient users of the HRIS
  • Collating data and submitting the annual response for the Women in Finance Charter
  • Supporting the team with collation of HR data for Board reports
  • Managing the quarterly review process of all employee talent map ratings
  • Ensuring the team complete all HR responsibilities for Fitness & Propriety lifecycle requirements
  • Managing the delivery of the annual certification of all employees in regulated roles
  • Ensuring documentation and tracking of all registered staff is recorded appropriately
  • Overseeing the management of all employee relations cases
  • Implementing risk management and governance policy at team level
  • Supporting the Head of HR on internal and external audits
  • Assisting the Head of HR with people projects as necessary

Requirements:

  • CIPD qualified
  • Well versed in employment law and best practice HR approaches and initiatives
  • Experience managing teams
  • Experience handling complex employee relations cases
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Background in financial services (desirable)
  • Familiarity with SMCR (desirable)
