As Interim Home Manager, you will take full responsibility for the day-to-day running of the service, ensuring regulatory compliance, team stability, and positive outcomes for residents. You will quickly assess current performance, identify priorities, and implement effective action plans where required.
Job Responsibility:
Provide strong, visible leadership to the care and clinical teams
Ensure full compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies
Oversee safeguarding, governance, and quality assurance processes
Support and develop the staff team to maintain morale and performance
Maintain strong communication with residents, families, and external professionals
Manage occupancy, budgets, and operational performance
Prepare for inspections and drive continuous improvement
Requirements:
Experienced Care Home Manager with a strong regulatory background
Proven track record of stabilising services and improving standards
Confident managing inspections and working with regulators
Commercially aware with sound financial oversight experience
Calm under pressure, decisive, and solutions-focused
Available at short notice for an interim assignment
