The Head of Marketing will lead the development and delivery of a comprehensive marketing strategy across LCG’s Apprenticeships provision. Reporting to the Marketing Director, you will translate the group's marketing strategy into high-impact, audience-led plans that drive learner recruitment, engagement, and sustainable growth across a diverse and complex portfolio. This is a senior, hands-on leadership position, blending strategic oversight with operational excellence. The successful candidate will work in close partnership with curriculum, sales, engagement and operational teams to ensure marketing activity is aligned, effective and delivers measurable outcomes.
Job Responsibility:
Lead and deliver the marketing strategy across the Apprenticeships provision
Build a strong understanding of each market, audience and product offer to inform effective decision-making
Translate organisational objectives into clear, measurable and outcome-focused marketing plans
Ensure all activity aligns with Learning Curve Group brand guidelines, messaging and strategic priorities
Plan and deliver multichannel marketing campaigns across digital, content, PR, events and partnerships
Lead learner recruitment and enquiry generation activity across your portfolio
Ensure propositions are clearly defined, positioned and communicated to the right audiences
Support product launches, new provision and wider commercial initiatives
Work closely with operational leaders, curriculum teams and engagement or sales teams
Develop joined-up plans that support recruitment, conversion and growth
Act as the senior marketing partner for your business areas, providing clear advice and direction
Line manage and develop a small, high-performing marketing team aligned to your portfolio
Provide clear direction, ongoing support and development opportunities
Foster a collaborative, inclusive and continuous improvement-focused team culture
Own and manage marketing budgets for your areas, ensuring a strong return on investment
Track and report on performance across campaigns, channels and the full learner journey
Use insight and data to optimise activity and inform future planning
Work closely with CRM and marketing automation teams to improve enquiry handling and follow-up
Introduce and refine automated communications where appropriate to enhance the learner experience
Ensure GDPR, safeguarding and regulatory compliance across all marketing activity
Collaborate closely with other Heads of Marketing and central teams across Learning Curve Group
Share best practices, and learning to strengthen capability and consistency
Support continuous improvement and innovation across the wider marketing function
Conduct your role in line with the company values and expected behaviours

Requirements:
Proven experience in a senior marketing role with strategic responsibility
Experience leading marketing activity across multiple products, audiences or portfolios
Strong understanding of the full marketing mix and how channels work together
Experience managing teams and working effectively with a wide range of stakeholders
Commercial mindset, with a clear focus on outcomes, performance, and return on investment
Nice to have:
Experience within Further Education, Higher Education, or training
Experience working within a complex or regulated environment
