Job Description:

An interesting opportunity has arisen at an NHS organisation which has an excellent opportunity for an experienced Head of Financial Management to lead the reporting across the divisions. Working closely with the CFO and the Finance Business Partnering team, you will take ownership of coordinating and producing consolidated monthly management and board reports. These will highlight the organisation’s actual and forecast financial position, analyse key variances, and provide insights into the drivers behind activity and performance. In addition, you will lead the annual business planning, forecasting, and budget-setting processes, ensuring the budget meets both organisational and regulatory requirements, while securing engagement and approval from operational divisions. You will also play an important role in developing Service Line Reporting further to drive greater understanding of the organisation’s financial performance and inform decision-making. This is a visible and influential role, offering the opportunity to make a real impact on the quality of financial management service delivered and to help shape the plans of the organisation. For the right candidate, this will be a challenging yet professionally rewarding position.

  • Excellent communication and influencing skills
  • Ability to lead, inspire, and collaborate effectively across teams
