I’m working with a charity that does huge amounts to support their local community thrive to find their next Interim Head of Finance – someone who wants to genuinely shape how this organisation operates, not just keep the books ticking over. This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll own the financial strategy, lead a small team, and work closely with senior stakeholders to drive real improvements.

Job Responsibility:

  • Leading the finance function and developing your team
  • Getting stuck into budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting
  • Working with the leadership team to inform decision-making
  • Improving processes and bringing fresh thinking to how things are done

Requirements:

  • Qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent) or qualified by experience with significant experience within the charity or not for profit sectors
  • Solid experience leading finance teams and managing end-to-end financial operations
  • Someone who can translate numbers into meaningful insight for non-finance colleagues
  • Comfortable working at pace and happy to roll their sleeves up
