Interim Financial Reporting Accountant (IFRS) | Rapid-Growth AI Scale-Up | London/Hybrid. Harmonic are thrilled to be working exclusively with a high-growth Artificial Intelligence Software business in their search for an experienced Interim Financial Reporting Accountant on an interim basis. Backed by some of the world's leading investors and having raised hundreds of millions in funding, this rapidly expanding business is breaking new ground internationally and continues to scale at pace across multiple territories. This is a fantastic opportunity for a senior finance professional who thrives in a fast-moving environment and enjoys building robust processes while driving international accounting excellence. The Role: Reporting to the Director of Finance, you will take full ownership of group consolidations and audit across multiple international territories including the UK, US, and European entities, ensuring accurate conversion from local GAAP to IFRS. You will also work closely with the Director of Finance on strategic ad hoc projects, providing insight and expertise to support key business decisions and continued international growth.

Job Responsibility:

  • Drive group consolidations across multiple jurisdictions, ensuring timely and accurate reporting from local GAAP into IFRS
  • Ownership and preparation of financial statements for European entities
  • Ownership of the monthly, quarterly, and annual preparation of IFRS consolidated financial statements
  • Point of contact for all IFRS related questions from auditors, finance team members, and management
  • Implement and maintain robust, scalable finance processes to support international operations
  • Partner with the Director of Finance on ad hoc initiatives, providing financial insight and recommendations
  • Identify opportunities to streamline reporting, improve controls, and support decision-making at the group level

Requirements:

  • ACA, CA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent accounting qualification
  • 5+ years' experience in the IFRS department at an audit or accounting firm
  • Comfortable working in a scale-up, fast-paced, international environment
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across global teams
  • Previous experience consolidating financial statements in line with various European entity accounting law
