Due to an ongoing recruitment process, our busy multi-skilled finance team based in Paulton, who provide support to our growing number of bakeries across the country, are looking for an Interim Financial Controller.

Job Responsibility:

Oversee the Purchase Ledger function, supporting with supplier queries, reviewing supplier payments and ensuring adherence to company policy
Oversee the Payroll function, reviewing draft payroll reports prior to authorisation and supporting in labour budgeting
Work collaboratively to produce period end management accounts, posting journals and performing reconciliations, being responsible for any technical accounting matters that arise
Produce weekly cash flow forecasting to support company treasury management
Support in both annual and ad hoc budgeting and reforecasting for the company
Coordinate finance deliverables for new site openings
Provide financial analysis and collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve financial queries

Requirements:

Highly organised, with experience working in a similar role, producing work to a high level of detail and accuracy
Team management experience
Great communication skills
Experience in a fast-paced finance department
Hold a professional qualification (CIMA/ACCA/ACA)
Good knowledge of Excel
All candidates must be eligible to live and work in the UK
