Job Description:

Allen Lane are delighted to be assisting a Local Authority with the recruitment of an experienced Interim Finance Manager to support a London based Local Authority with the development and delivery of its Medium-Term Financial Strategy.

Job Responsibility:

Lead MTFS planning, modelling and reporting
Support budget setting and savings development
Budget management and monitoring of corporate budget function
Provide clear financial advice to senior leaders and Members
Improve financial insight, forecasting and governance

Requirements:

CCAB qualification (or equivalent)
Strong Local Government finance experience particularly with in MTFS

What we offer:

Hybrid working arrangement with one day required on site per week
