We are seeking a highly experienced Registered Manager to oversee a number supported living services in the London region of Hackney on a interim basis. The homes support a total of 40 adults with complex needs, including learning disabilities and autism. This interim role (with potential to convert to permanent) is crucial for providing leadership, stabilising teams, and driving person-centred care. You will manage direct staff teams, supported by Project Leaders and Service Managers, ensuring high standards of care, compliance, and staff development. This hands-on role involves active leadership, overseeing daily operations, fostering a positive culture, and supporting staff through operational challenges.
Job Responsibility:
Lead and manage supported living homes, ensuring high-quality, person-centred care for all residents
Support and develop staff, promoting teamwork, accountability, and adherence to organisational values
Manage operational tasks, including rotas, staff deployment, and compliance with care standards
Actively participate in on-call rota, offering support and guidance as needed
Liaise with external stakeholders, including families, social services, and regulatory bodies
Requirements:
NVQ Level 5 in Leadership & Management (or equivalent) essential
Significant experience managing residential or supported living services, ideally as a Registered Manager (3+ years preferred)
Strong leadership, organisational, and problem-solving skills
Proven ability to drive culture change, manage staff performance, and promote a positive working environment
Excellent interpersonal skills and a person-centred approach
UK driving license is a bonus but not essential
