Camberwell, Chelsea and Wimbledon Colleges of Arts (CCW) deliver a diverse range of activities that engage local communities through teaching, research, and public programmes. To build on this work and to ensure the full impact of these projects is realised, we are seeking an experienced Community Engagement Manager to lead a portfolio of initiatives across CCW, fostering meaningful connections between local communities, research and creative education. As a key member of our Public Engagement team, you will manage the CCW community engagement programme, helping to develop and deliver collaborative projects that benefit the University while aligning external stakeholder needs with the creative skills and knowledge of staff and students. You will be responsible for capturing and communicating the value and impact of these activities to internal and external audiences as part of our broader programme of public engagement. The role involves mentoring and providing training to research students and academic staff in best practice for inclusive community engagement. You will also contribute to communications on community engagement projects, manage project budgets effectively and identify external funding opportunities, taking the lead on bid development and submission.
Job Responsibility:
Lead a portfolio of initiatives across CCW, fostering meaningful connections between local communities, research and creative education

Requirements:
Experience in designing, developing and delivering community engagement in the arts
Excellent communication skills
Ability to convey information in a compelling and influential way
Adapt style and message to diverse audiences in an inclusive and accessible manner
Strong management and organisational skills
Ability to plan, prioritise and manage the delivery of complex projects or activities to achieve long term strategic objectives
Nice to have:
Experience preferably within a higher education context
