Job Responsibility
Prepare and manage accurate financial reports, budgets, and forecasts
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and organisational policies
Assist in year-end audits and liaise with external auditors as required
Monitor and analyse financial performance to support strategic decision-making
Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes to maintain cash flow
Support the development of internal financial controls and procedures
Provide financial insights and guidance to senior management and stakeholders
Contribute to special projects and initiatives within the accounting and finance department
Requirements
A professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, or ACA)
Proven experience in accounting and finance, ideally within the higher education sector
Strong technical skills in financial reporting and compliance
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
Effective communication skills to interact with stakeholders at all levels
The ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
