Our client is recruiting for an Interface Engineer for a UK based CCUS project, where you'll play a crucial role in supporting project technical alignment and communication with key stakeholders. Role will be based in the London office, with UK site visits as required.
Job Responsibility:
Support the Interface Technical Manager by collecting and integrating technical inputs from Engineering, Work Package Management, Project Controls, and other relevant teams
Prepare, coordinate, and review technical reports, presentations, and documentation for submission to external stakeholders
Critically assess incoming technical information and propose clear representations to support stakeholder engagement
Collaborate with the CCS business unit and HQ to ensure effective communication of technical content
Assist in developing and maintaining an updated interface map and tracking register of project dependencies
Facilitate communication flow between project teams for timely information exchange
Support the preparation and management of all technical documentation required by Ofgem
Contribute to early identification of technical risks and inconsistencies
Participate in technical meetings to clarify content and resolve discrepancies
Support the preparation and update of technical reports, registers, and interface documentation
Requirements:
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering (preferably in Oil & Gas, Energy, or similar disciplines)
3–6 years of experience in project engineering or technical support roles
Familiarity with agile project management principles
Experience in project engineering or technical support roles
Proficient in managing project packages and interfaces
Strong skills in preparing and managing technical documentation
Understanding of UK regulatory frameworks, particularly Ofgem processes
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
