Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Intercompany Accounting Specialist to manage the end-to-end Intercompany process, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely execution of financial transactions. The role demands strong accounting knowledge, a customer-focused approach, and the ability to work across finance and non-finance teams to resolve disputes and improve processes. The individual will play a key role in maintaining financial integrity and supporting month-end activities in a multinational environment.

Job Responsibility

  • Process accounting entries and analyse their impact on financial statements
  • Own the end-to-end Intercompany process and enforce process controls
  • Resolve disputes arising from PO approvals and Intercompany mismatches
  • Clear mismatches and minimise errors from billing runs
  • Perform settlements through In-House Cash and allocate incoming payments
  • Create invoices to Operating Companies (OpCos) and ensure timely receipt and payment
  • Assist OpCos with approvals for write-offs resulting from reconciliation or cash allocation
  • Collaborate with Treasury and other departments to ensure sound financial practices
  • Support team members in resolving complex issues and contribute to continuous improvement
  • Maintain performance standards by adhering to SLAs and KPIs

Requirements

  • Accountancy qualified or part-qualified
  • 4+ years of relevant experience, preferably in a multinational environment
  • Strong accounting knowledge, especially in month-end activities
  • SAP knowledge is an advantage
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Customer-focused with a collaborative mindset
