Job Description

Oversee global intercompany accounting processes, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and manage financial reporting for international subsidiaries and holding entities. This position plays a vital role in monthly closing, consolidations, and enforcing internal controls while collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive efficiencies.

Job Responsibility

  • Develop and manage intercompany accounting processes, including billing, settlements, eliminations, and reconciliations across global entities
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of monthly, quarterly, and annual intercompany close procedures
  • Resolve discrepancies and disputes in intercompany transactions by working closely with corporate and segment accounting teams
  • Establish and enforce policies and governance for intercompany accounting activities
  • Perform accounting responsibilities for international subsidiaries and holding companies, ensuring compliance with both U.S. and local statutory requirements
  • Oversee accounting for dividends, capital contributions, intercompany loans, equity transactions, and restructuring activities
  • Collaborate with external advisors and local teams to manage statutory reporting, audits, and filings
  • Drive improvements in foreign currency accounting, including remeasurement and translation processes
  • Ensure strong internal controls over intercompany and subsidiary accounting workflows
  • Support internal and external audits by preparing necessary documentation and addressing findings

Requirements

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, with expertise in intercompany accounting and financial reporting
  • Proficiency in month-end close processes, general ledger management, and account reconciliations
  • Strong understanding of journal entries, financial statement audits, and regulatory compliance
  • CPA certification or equivalent qualification demonstrating attention to detail
  • Experience working in or with Big 4 accounting firms is highly desirable
  • Ability to identify and mitigate risks in accounting and operational processes
  • Proven track record of driving process improvements and standardization
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills for working with cross-functional teams
