We are looking for Integrator/Engineer (Alarm Manager) to join Sopra Steria Polska for a client that provides technological and operational support for a project which is providing IT services for a major French telecommunications operator since 2010. The position involves working for a major international telecom operator, focusing on migrating hypervision solutions for Network Operation Centers in France. The Polish team will progressively take ownership of operational, technical, and reporting responsibilities for Alarm Manager: a supervision and alarm‑handling solution used to visualize, update, enrich, and manage alarms coming from network equipment.
Job Responsibility:
Configure telecom equipment through the new Alarm Manager interface
Integrate business features such as correlation, reporting, and automation
Apply existing ETL processes to the new hypervision platform
Participate in unit tests and prepare technical & functional documentation
Support and maintain migrated connections in production (may include on‑call work)
Interact directly with customer teams
Develop administration/configuration scripts and call available web services
Deploy new services in a private cloud environment
Requirements:
Experience in system integration, monitoring, or application operations
Strong Linux knowledge
Scripting capabilities
Ability to work with supervision tools and process operational incidents
Good analytical skills and autonomy
English (French is a strong advantage depending on activities)
