LumApps is an AI-powered Employee Hub. As a Marketplace Engineer you will be in the heart of the iteration cycle with the opportunity to travel onsite to co-innovate with our customers in Europe and North America. Then work with our internal teams to turn these into valuable solutions available in our Marketplace. This role is a rare opportunity to accelerate your engineering career working with senior leadership and opening the door towards difficult to land roles such as architect, product manager or tech lead.
Job Responsibility:
Co-innovate with customers: Translate customer needs into use cases to then deliver fully integrated solutions
Rapid prototyping: Build proof-of-concept integrations using Embedded Apps, Authenticated Links, public APIs, webhooks, iPaaS tools and AI Agents
Partner enablement: Moderate workshops with customers & ISVs
mentor our partner’s developer teams and work with our product teams to improve our API extension points based on feedback
Developer evangelism: Create plug-and-play integration templates, sample connectors, and code snippets for our ecosystem
publish how-to articles, take part in webinars, and speak at community events to showcase best practices
Innovation scouting: Collaborate with strategic partners to test emerging tech, such as, agentic AI capabilities: autonomous LLM agents that plan, decide, and act through LumApps/Beekeeper APIs
retrieval-augmented copilots that surface knowledge on demand
Field feedback loop: Travel (up to ~1 week/quarter) to customers or events to innovate together and ship fast
Requirements:
+5 years customer-facing experience in a technical role (engineering, presales, technical solutions, etc). Proven experience working with technical partners or ISVs
Strong communication skills in English (verbal & written)
Get-it-done mindset: Bias for action, ability to self-prioritize without waiting for PM/UX direction
Full-stack fluency: You’re proficient in at least one backend technology such as Java, Python, Node, or Ruby, and either have experience with frontend technologies like TypeScript and React or are eager to learn them. You’re familiar with REST/GraphQL APIs and OAuth flows
Ability to travel up to ~1 week/quarter to customers, partners or events
Nice to have:
Published apps on Slack, Teams, Shopify, Atlassian, or similar marketplaces
Experience with iPaaS platforms (Workato, Zapier, Make)
Knowledge of workforce-tech domains (scheduling, payroll, HR systems, etc.)
