Help us write the next chapter of Purina’s history. As an Integrated Work Group Lead, you’ll help promote and execute the Nestlé Continuous Excellence (NCE) program and Total Performance Management (TPM) methodology. Work cross-functionally across our factory teams to optimize productivity and prioritize safety through the implementation of training and coordination of continuous improvement initiatives. In this role, you’ll lead by example and provide support and coaching throughout our manufacturing process. Analyze processes and data, identify opportunities for improvement, and share your recommendations to make an impact on our operations. This position will require travel up to 25% for training purposes to other Nestle Purina operating facilities, until the Williamsburg Township facility reaches operation and/or you are fully qualified in your role. Travel will significantly reduce once the Williamsburg Township facility is operational.
Job Responsibility:
Provide Manufacturing Excellence and Total Performance Management coaching to production and maintenance departments
Coach and teach to connect losses with standards and routines through data analysis and tracking trends
Own and implement plans and resources for production and maintenance team members that enable them to identify and eliminate losses, transform their workplace, and achieve sustainable results
Understand top losses and areas for growth (safety, quality, performance, and people)
Support and lead Continuous Improvement Group team meetings regularly, providing supporting data to understand losses and corrective actions to take
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED
1+ years’ experience working in a fast-paced, performance-measured role with a focus on problem solving and/or continuous improvement techniques within a production, manufacturing, industrial or related environment
