Job Description

The purpose of the Integrated Media & Performance Leader role is to define media strategy and contribute to the sales growth and profitability through effective media implementation. This role contributes to marketing budget planning and allocation of each media, including search to continuously improve marketing ROI and performance.

Job Responsibility

  • Contribute to the development and execution of the marketing plan, ensuring alignment with common objectives and goals to enhance performance and output
  • Responsible for leading the Integrated Media function, driving the totality of the IKEA offering to the market through all paid media
  • Manage the strategy, planning, execution and optimizing the use of owned, earned and paid media channels to increase the commercial impact, drive business results and improve cost efficiency of results in collaboration with the country Digital, Loyalty and External Communication teams
  • Responsible for managing local media agency relationships to meet country Marketing needs and improve ROI of Marketing
  • Responsible for securing metrics to understand media performance and identify needs and gaps to meet business and marketing objectives
  • Responsible for securing good media governance and accountability by leading the work with media agencies and key media and platform vendors
  • Actively cooperate with all key stakeholders within commercial and beyond to secure integration, common focus and increase impact
  • Contribute to the integrated omnichannel executions/output of the marketing function to contribute to the business goals
  • Manage and optimise the performance of all marketing campaigns to achieve key business objectives and KPIs within the given budget
  • Ensure optimal reach, engagement and frequency (spends) across digital & social platforms, outreach to bloggers and influencers
  • Utilise web analytics tools to monitor and analyse website traffic, user behaviour and campaign performance, providing insights and recommendations
  • With the support of media agency, measure, report and follow up on the results of all search and social media activities, then make recommendations and implement actions to improve results
  • Support the Marketing & PR Manager to track budgets for all activities and ensure appropriate evaluation to measure tangible metrics associated with budget and performance that delivers on marketing investment
  • Contribute to the budget planning process and take responsibility in all administrative matters relating to budgeting, monthly reconciliation with Finance teams, and re-forecasting assignments
