Randstad is currently partnering with Electro Optic Systems (EOS) in an exciting new role within the Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Space. As part of broad, on-going growth within the ILS team, the business has a need for an experienced ILS professional to lead the ILS activities for EOS projects. About the Role: The ILS Team Lead is responsible for the coordination and delivery of all ILS requirements relating to Australian Defence projects and other EOS projects as required. The role will be responsible for working with all aspects of the Systems Engineering discipline, along with the Aftermarket and Services and Programs team to ensure that all ILS requirements are met on time, within budget and to the customer’s quality requirements. The ILS Team Lead will be required to address some logistic engineering tasks from time to time and to work directly with the Customers to understand and deliver to their requirements. A solid background and understand of Australian Defence Logistics is required for this role.

Job Responsibility

  • Ensure that all the project’s Logistic requirements are identified, captured and allocated to appropriate resources
  • Draft Logistics documentation (Integrated Support plans, Technical Data List, Codification data, etc.) as required
  • Manage the delivery of all Logistic requirements for the allocated Project and engage with the customer to ensure Customer Acceptance
  • Ensure the efficiency and cost-effectiveness of logistics operations by employing life cycle cost modelling and logistics support analysis techniques
  • Implement processes and procedures to support the acquisition and sustainment of equipment in accordance with Defence requirements
  • Participate in ILS Planning workshops and work collaboratively with stakeholders

Requirements

  • Qualifications or significant experience in an ILS domain
  • Experience working within CASG environment
  • Ability to obtain AGSVA Baseline Clearance
  • Minimum 3 years in similar role
