Job Description

The position is responsible of short to long term material planning in complex business environment. Candidate needs to deal with business dynamics, translate demand & customers requirements to stretched by rational de-coupled supply plan. He or she needs to be able to address business priority and lead cross sectoral collaboration to work towards the same goal. He or she should able to quantify impact & trade-offs between different demand-supply scenarios based on facts & data, including risks & opportunity on the business & costs. Drive for timely and quality decisions making at managerial level and is able to independently work with business stakeholders and drive for results. Candidates needs to proactively seek on continuous improvements, both content and process . Preferably with new product introduction experiences.

Requirements

  • PFEP (Plan For Every Part): Builds the communication and purchasing structures with a supplier ( PO structure, purchasing order strategy, etc.)
  • Applies and maintains inventory level strategy per MRP relevant product family
  • Controls and maintains BOM costs in accordance with applicable contracts, changes authority budget, or justifies budget delta for approval
  • Analyses, supports, and integrates change management implementation plans for a given product family
  • Actions workflow non-conformities and snags in a timely manner, and supports the implementation of corrective actions with Supplier if required
  • Understands production line installation position, supplier lead times, and master schedule for their portfolio
  • Manages and negotiates delays in delivery dates during open PO review by understanding impacts and delays on production line and relaying them back to suppliers along with contractual remedies in case of material breaches
