Job Description

Are you organised and proactive looking for a key role in a fast-paced environment? We are seeking a dedicated individual to support our intake and yard operations, ensuring efficient unloading, stock handling, and site cleanliness. Intake Operators are responsible for booking in stock, processing orders and carrying out regular stock checks.

Job Responsibility

  • Loading and unloading goods, including fresh produce, packaging, and waste materials
  • Maintaining yard and loading bay housekeeping standards
  • Picking orders and decanting pallets to support production needs
  • Operating machinery for baling and compacting waste materials
  • Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety and Food Safety regulations
  • Maintaining forklift and handling equipment, completing pre-work checks
  • Accurately complete stock records, weight checks, and traceability documentation
  • Liaising with the Production Manager and Despatch Supervisors on customer orders and stock requirements

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a warehouse or yard role is desirable
  • Strong organisational skills
  • A hands-on team player with a proactive attitude
  • Physical stamina with a good level of self-motivation
  • Experience of operating balers, compactors, and handling stock rotation
  • Respecting of rules and regulations
