Job Description:

We are looking for an Intake Operative, to work at our Lodge Farm Site. Shifts 10am to 6pm Monday to Friday.

Job Responsibility:

  • The ability to unload pallet deliveries daily, and to aid with the weighing in and out of deliveries and collections, where necessary
  • Using the relevant computer systems to determine that a silo has sufficient capacity to accommodate the delivery weight, whilst providing necessary assistance to the drivers ensuring the delivery is received and stored securely within the correct silo
  • Assisting with all required intake checks, following the Technical Acceptance Requirements, and completing the Weighbridge Intake procedure, e.g. labels, weights, intake sheets and any other associated documents
  • Collecting samples of selected products as per the Technical Acceptance Requirements ensuring they are labelled correctly
  • Ensuring that raw material and packaging deliveries are correctly labelled with information needed

Requirements:

  • Forklift License
  • Good English and Math knowledge
  • Computer literate with experience of Microsoft applications
  • Flexibility to be able to work in a different area of the business if required, and to work outside of their normal working hours given reasonable notice, in accordance with the Employee Contract
  • Ensure that you understand and adhere to your personal responsibilities with regard the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 or Health and Safety at Work (Northern Ireland) Order SI 1978/1039

Nice to have:

  • Previous experience working with stock and pallets desirable
  • Creative thinking to add to the development to the team for new processes in a growing business
