Job Description

We are looking for an Intake Coordinator to support client onboarding and intake operations in Plantation, Florida. This Contract position is ideal for someone who can balance administrative accuracy with compassionate client interaction in a fast-paced setting. The successful candidate will help manage application information, maintain organized records, and support smooth communication throughout the intake process.

Job Responsibility

  • Welcome new clients and guide them through intake steps, ensuring all required information is collected accurately and efficiently
  • Review client applications for completeness, follow up on missing details, and keep documentation current in internal records
  • Coordinate communication between clients and internal teams to support timely service initiation and issue resolution
  • Maintain organized electronic and manual files using Microsoft Office tools to track intake activity and related documentation
  • Provide clear information to clients regarding forms, procedures, and next steps while delivering respectful and attentive support
  • Monitor intake workflows, identify delays or inconsistencies, and escalate concerns when additional assistance is needed
  • Prepare routine reports, data summaries, and correspondence to support daily operations and program tracking

Requirements

  • Experience supporting client intake, admissions, or onboarding activities in an administrative or service-based environment
  • Familiarity with client application processing and document review with strong attention to detail
  • Background in social work, human services, or a related field is preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally and empathetically
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain accurate records, and meet deadlines in a structured workflow
  • High level of organization, discretion, and reliability when handling sensitive client information.
