Job Description

The Estimating Insurance Restoration Estimator is key to the growing estimating team, helping ensure accurate, timely, and well-organized project planning and completion. This role involves coordinating documents, maintaining records, and supporting day-to-day estimating operations.

Job Responsibility

  • Provide administrative support to estimators and project managers
  • Maintain estimating databases, spreadsheets, and budget reports
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of estimating files and documentation
  • Support pre-construction meetings and bid reviews
  • Weekly job auditing to ensure all necessary information is in ProCore and other systems
  • Import photos and other information into ProCore from other systems
  • Audit time and material invoices from sub-contractors
  • Provide documents and photos to other departments as needed
  • Intake budget dollar values from estimating to create budget spreadsheet

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Microsoft outlook, word, and excel)
  • Strong organization skills
  • Clear professional communication
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Ability to work on active construction sites
  • Must be able to move, reach overhead and below knees, including bending, twisting, and pulling
  • Must be able to stand, sit, or walk for an entire shift

Nice to have

  • Familiarity with Xactimate
  • Strong knowledge of a construction environment
  • Previous experience with property management, sales
  • Detail-oriented
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Extremely responsible with integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion
