Job Description:

HSBC is seeking an ambitious professional to join the International Wealth and Personal Banking team as an Insurance Product Expert. The role focuses on achieving sales targets, providing support to relationship managers, and offering client-centered insurance solutions. Responsibilities include meeting key performance targets, conducting client portfolio reviews, promoting product knowledge, and organizing regional/branch customer events.

Job Responsibility:

To achieve the desired Relationship Manager and Branch sales performance targets
To achieve wealth insurance revenue aspiration
To achieve the target product mix for PERML
To achieve overall participation, productivity, conversion ratio, profitability and quality sales by individual Relationship Manager and Branch
Performing professional support to Relationship Manager and Branch Leaders satisfaction
Conducting reviews of Relationship Managers' client portfolios to identify any solution gaps and concentration risk
Supporting Relationship Managers in client meetings by explaining complex solutions related to their specialist areas and how they meet client's needs
Identifying coaching opportunities for performance improvement
Keeping Relationship Managers abreast of new product launches, improving product specific technical knowledge and their understanding of market outlook and trends
Recommending solutions to meet clients' needs and their risk profile
Providing financial planning advice to customers in relation to their insurance portfolio
Organising branch activities such as customer events in regional or branch level
Providing after-sales service and guidance to customers such as minor claims process and policy changes.

Requirements:

Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree, Professional Diploma /Degree, Business Studies/ Administration/ Management, Marketing or equivalent
Highly results oriented and keen interest in product support position
With min 3 years of relevant working experience in financial service industry with sales experience in Bancassurance and life insurance protection product preferably in a banking environment
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Due to the urgent hiring need, candidates with immediate right to work locally and no relocation needed will be prioritized.
