Lawes is currently working with a leading theatre and entertainment insurance broker seeking a Personal Assistant/Secretary to join their team in London. You’ll be providing support to the MD, as well as assisting with wider secretarial duties across the team.
Job Responsibility:
Diary management including arranging meetings
Taking minutes at meetings
Read and respond promptly to emails and queries
Answering and transferring calls
Type up dictated notes, letters, and reports
Prepare and issue documentation
Provide support to the wider team when needed
Ad-hoc administrative duties
Requirements:
Previous experience as a PA or Secretary
Experience within an Insurance environment – advantageous but not essential
Excellent IT skills including all MS Office
Strong communication skills both written and verbal
Well organised with excellent time management
Can stay in control under pressure
Knowledge of shorthand – preferred
