Job Description:

Lawes is currently working with a leading theatre and entertainment insurance broker seeking a Personal Assistant/Secretary to join their team in London. You’ll be providing support to the MD, as well as assisting with wider secretarial duties across the team.

Job Responsibility:

  • Diary management including arranging meetings
  • Taking minutes at meetings
  • Read and respond promptly to emails and queries
  • Answering and transferring calls
  • Type up dictated notes, letters, and reports
  • Prepare and issue documentation
  • Provide support to the wider team when needed
  • Ad-hoc administrative duties

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a PA or Secretary
  • Experience within an Insurance environment – advantageous but not essential
  • Excellent IT skills including all MS Office
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal
  • Well organised with excellent time management
  • Can stay in control under pressure
  • Knowledge of shorthand – preferred
