Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Team Manager to join one of our clients based within Warwickshire. As a pivotal member of the team, you will lead and develop a high-performing team, drive operational efficiency, and ensure exceptional customer service delivery. Our client is considering individuals from a Non-Insurance background as long as you have operational managerial and sales experience.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead and develop a high-performing team, ensuring alignment with company values
  • Manage day-to-day operations, including workflow, work allocation, and absence management across multiple locations
  • Conduct monthly 1-2-1s and support personal development of team members
  • Act as the liaison between the Training & Competency (T&C) team and department leadership
  • Drive results by monitoring and analysing data to ensure KPIs and SLAs are met or exceeded
  • Handle customer escalations and ensure delivery of exceptional service
  • Make independent decisions while maintaining operational efficiency
  • Maintain a customer-centric approach, ensuring service excellence

Requirements:

  • Proven experience of managing and developing teams
  • Strong decision-making skills and ability to work on your own initiative
  • Excellent data analysis skills to monitor performance and achieve results
  • Delivery of exceptional customer service and ability to resolve escalations
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks while ensuring smooth operational workflows
  • Ability to maintain a high level of customer service at all times
  • Knowledge and use of insurer products and solutions
  • Sales and service process knowledge, particularly sales through service
  • Proficient in account management systems and Microsoft Office

Nice to have:

Non-Insurance background with operational managerial and sales experience
