Bay Area law firm is seeking an experienced Insurance Litigation Paralegal to join their team in California. This position focuses on insurance coverage litigation and involves working remotely with a dynamic group of professionals. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting attorneys through all stages of litigation while ensuring efficiency and organization in complex cases.
Job Responsibility:
Provide comprehensive support to attorneys during all phases of insurance coverage litigation, including research, drafting pleadings, discovery, and trial preparation
Maintain and organize case files, exhibits, and litigation schedules to ensure smooth case management
Draft, review, and edit legal documents such as correspondence, motions, and pleadings
Facilitate communication with clients, witnesses, experts, and court personnel to coordinate case activities
Conduct in-depth legal research and summarize findings to assist attorneys in case strategy
Manage electronic discovery processes and maintain digital records efficiently
Monitor deadlines and ensure timely filing of court documents
Collaborate with the legal team to prepare trial exhibits and presentations
Stay updated on court filing requirements and legal procedures to ensure compliance
Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a litigation paralegal, preferably in insurance coverage or defense cases
Strong understanding of legal processes, court systems, and filing procedures
Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
Proficiency in legal research tools and case management software
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
Self-motivated and capable of working independently in a fully remote environment
