Insurance Litigation Paralegal - Vancouver

• Manage approximately 130 active life and health insurance litigation files
• Handle pre-litigation demands and draft Small Claims and Supreme Court pleadings
• Independently negotiate payment/recovery plans for corporate overpayments
• Prepare evidence books, trial briefs, compile evidence books, and assemble books of authority
• Act as a confident communicator willing to pick up the phone to ask remote colleagues for guidance

• College diploma/degree in Paralegal Studies
• Strong background in CIVIL LITIGATION
• Previous exposure to INSURANCE LAW (life and health insurance, group benefits, long-term disability, or debt recovery) is ideal
• Day-one operational readiness navigating BC Court Services Online (CSO) portal
• Microsoft Office Suite (Teams, OneDrive)
• Willing and able to pass a rigorous background and credit check with no history of bankruptcy or unmanageable debt profiles
• Legally eligible to work full-time in Canada
• Currently reside in or around Vancouver, BC

Previous exposure to insurance law (life and health insurance, group benefits, long-term disability, or debt recovery) is ideal

• Hybrid flexibility (1 day per week onsite in downtown Vancouver office)
• Competitive salary ($78,582 – $100,000 per annual)
