Job Description

A multi-office law firm in Portland is seeking an experienced Insurance Defense Attorney to join their team, taking on cases of Product Liability matters. The salary range for the role is 130-185k base with additional structured bonus earnings on a standard billable target of 1800. The firm offers medical, dental, vision and life insurance, unlimited PTO, 401k plus company match, transportation benefits and other perks. They offer a flexible hybrid work structure, allowing attorneys to regularly work-from-home weekly if desired. Equity and Non-Equity Partnership tracks are available, with shortened timeline for those with prior experience. They host annual performance reviews and raises.

Taking on cases of Product Liability matters

Requirements

  • 3+ years practicing as an Attorney in Oregon State, with some experience handling Insurance Defense Matters
  • Juris Doctor with strong academic credentials
  • Active Oregon Bar license, in good standing
  • Strong motions practice and legal writing skills
  • Prior experience drafting coverage opinions

Nice to have

  • Experience in deposition, mediations, arbitrations and trial, preferred
  • Prior experience in Product Liability cases not required, but valued
