Experience in a regulated claims environment (minimum 6 months desirable)
Knowledge of legal expenses insurance products (home or motor) is desirable, but full training will be provided

Job Responsibility

Review and assess claims, ensuring they meet policy criteria
Refer claims to panel solicitors in line with policy terms, and decline claims where appropriate
Manage customer expectations on process and timescales from first contact through to claim conclusion
Review documentation and identify missing information needed to complete assessments
Provide accurate policy guidance to clients, colleagues, corporate partners, and solicitors
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, solicitors, and partners to continuously improve service
Ensure authorised costs and accruals are updated in line with policies to reflect risk exposure
Proactively manage billing processes, reconciling data and processing payments accurately and on time
Review and challenge bills where appropriate
