Job Description:

Our Platform Engineering Team is working to solve the Multiplicity Problem. We are trusted by some of the most reputable and established FinTech Firms. Recently, our team has spearheaded the Conversion & Go Live of apps which support the backbone of the Financial Trading Industry. We are seeking a Business Analyst with strong domain expertise in Life Assurance and ACORD Life & Annuity data mapping. You will play a critical role in bridging business and engineering, ensuring complex insurance and financial products are translated into actionable requirements, mappings, and solutions.

Job Responsibility:

  • Analyze and map ACORD XMLs, flat files, and legacy data into target logical models
  • Conduct gap analysis between ACORD standards, flat files, and target BRx data models
  • Develop data mapping specifications, transformation rules, and business validation requirements
  • Collaborate with engineering squads to define API specifications (Kafka, JSON, XML, XLSX) and integration workflows
  • Participate in stability reviews, NFR definition, and end-to-end data validation
  • Support creation of UI widget specs, test scenarios, and regression test inputs
  • Document and deliver data mapping workbooks, schemas, and recommendations for enhancements
  • Facilitate workshops with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • 8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst/Technical Analyst, ideally in Life Assurance, Insurance, or Annuities
  • Hands-on experience in ACORD Life & Annuity standards, data mapping, and integration
  • Strong knowledge of data models, XML, JSON, flat files, and schemas
  • Familiarity with APIs, Kafka topics, Postgres, and SQL-based data workflows
  • Proven experience conducting gap analysis and delivering mapping workbooks
  • Exposure to performance/stability reviews, non-functional testing, and regression inputs
  • Proficiency in JIRA, Confluence, and Agile methodologies
