Job Responsibility:

  • Team Leadership & Development: Build and manage the Broker Enablement team, setting clear KPIs, SOPs, and performance targets. Mentor and coach team members to foster a high-performance, collaborative culture
  • Process Optimisation: Act as the primary driver for continuous improvement. You will identify operational bottlenecks, streamline broker-to-ops workflows, and implement scalable solutions (including automation) to enhance efficiency
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Serve as the key operational partner for senior brokers, underwriting teams, compliance, and finance
  • Operational Excellence: Oversee core broking operations, ensuring flawless execution, data integrity, contract compliance, and adherence to service standards
  • Reporting & Analytics: Develop and track key operational metrics, delivering actionable insights to senior management to support strategic decisions

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in insurance operations, broker support, or underwriting operations
  • 2+ years of proven experience in team leadership, management, or senior-level mentoring
  • Strong knowledge of the commercial/specialty insurance ecosystem (Lloyd’s market experience is a significant advantage)
  • A proven track record of identifying and implementing successful process improvements
  • a Lean or Six Sigma mindset is highly desirable
  • Exceptional analytical skills and a data-driven approach to problem-solving
  • Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively at all levels
  • Resilient, proactive, and solutions-oriented mindset
  • Technical proficiency in core broking systems (e.g., Eclipse, PPL) and the MS Office Suite
