Job Description:

Lawes Group are working with a leading global insurance organisation who have some exciting opportunities to join their Early Careers programme on a 2 year apprenticeship. This offers a Level 3 apprenticeship as well the opportunity to undertake Insurance qualifications too. This Apprenticeship provides a unique rotational experience, spending 1 year within Claims Operations and 1 year within Underwriting Operations, giving you a full understanding of the insurance lifecycle. You will gain hands-on experience, technical skills, and an industry-recognised qualification, laying the foundation for a future career within Insurance.

Job Responsibility:

  • Support underwriting teams to deliver exceptional client service
  • Record insurance risks and manage bookings
  • Prepare policy documents and process endorsements
  • Identify and implement process improvements to optimise efficiency
  • Collaborate with internal teams to build a strong operational understanding
  • Assist in delivering the organisation’s claims strategy
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders
  • Ensure claims are handled efficiently and to required standards
  • Develop the skills and confidence needed to support customers and brokers effectively
  • Supporting underwriting and claims teams with daily tasks
  • Learning how risks are recorded, processed, and managed
  • Understanding the claims journey from notification to settlement
