Our client, a well-known provider of commercial, personal, and employee benefits lines of insurance, is seeking an experienced Account Executive to join their team. The Account Executive plays a pivotal role in managing and expanding the company’s client accounts.
Job Responsibility:
Overseeing a portfolio of approximately 35 accounts
Working with Account Managers to handle the administrative aspects of account servicing
Performing all client-facing account management duties, including setting pre-renewal meetings and facilitating plan reviews
Earning a 10% first-year commission on any new business referred, with an additional 10% end-of-year bonus for meeting annual sales goals
Allocating new business to the team best suited to meet the account profile and client needs
Meeting in-person with the employee benefits team every Wednesday and Thursday
Serving a local client base ranging from Bellingham to Olympia along the I-5 corridor
Requirements:
10+ years Employee Benefits Experience
At least 2 years as a Senior Account Manager or Account Executive
Experience overseeing Account Managers, delegating and splitting responsibilities
Experience with Fully & Self-Funded Accounts
Excellent interpersonal skills, with a focus on client-facing interactions
Applicants with experience from direct writers, carriers, or TPAs are not preferred
