Brook Street Recruitment is delighted to be partnering with a leading global insurance brokerage to recruit an experienced Insurance Account Executive for their growing Belfast team. Our client is one of the world's largest and most respected insurance brokers, renowned for delivering exceptional client service and tailored risk solutions. With a strong local presence in Belfast and the backing of a global network, they offer the perfect blend of collaboration, expertise, and career opportunity. As an Insurance Account Executive, you will take ownership of a portfolio of commercial clients, focusing on both growth and retention. You will play a pivotal role in delivering strategic insurance advice and building long-term, trusted relationships. You will be supported by a highly experienced team including Account Managers, a New Business Broker, Contact Manager and a dedicated Claims Team - enabling you to focus on what you do best: advising clients and driving business forward.

Job Responsibility

  • Place a broad range of commercial insurance risks across the market
  • Provide expert, tailored advice to clients on their insurance programmes and risk exposures
  • Act as a key point of contact for clients and insurer partners
  • Deliver exceptional service standards, including the efficient handling of mid-term adjustments and client queries
  • Manage individual client cases accurately and in line with regulatory requirements
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to internal compliance procedures
  • Ensure all company policies and regulatory obligations are upheld at all times

Requirements

  • Proven experience in an Account Handling or Account Executive role within the commercial/corporate insurance sector
  • Strong technical knowledge across a broad range of commercial insurance products
  • Experience managing a varied portfolio, including larger and more complex risks
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Strong organisational and case management abilities
  • The ability to develop and maintain successful relationships with clients and insurer partners
  • CII qualification (or working towards) preferred
