Job Description

Airswift’s Paris office is recruiting an Instrumentation Material Engineer to support engineering activities on a major industrial project. You will contribute to the preparation of technical documentation, supplier follow-up, bid evaluations, and cross-discipline coordination within a demanding EPC project environment.

Job Responsibility

  • Prepare technical bid packages and documentation
  • Review and follow up supplier technical documents
  • Prepare datasheets and requisitions
  • Evaluate supplier offers and produce TBT/TBE
  • Lead and follow up technical clarifications
  • Coordinate with Process, Piping Materials, Corrosion, and other disciplines
  • Organize supplier clarification meetings
  • Track quantities, modifications, and document updates (MASTER documents, P&ID…)
  • Ensure compliance with project standards and quality requirements
  • Provide structured technical feedback

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years in instrumentation or material engineering within Oil & Gas / EPC projects
  • Strong knowledge of instrumentation equipment (flowmeters, control valves, ON/OFF valves, safety valves)
  • Familiarity with applicable codes (API, IEC, ISA, ASME)
  • Proficiency with MS Office and Acrobat for PDF mark-up
  • User-level knowledge of SPI (Smart Plant Instrumentation – HEXAGON)
  • Autonomous and rigorous
  • Strong communication and coordination skills
  • Ability to work in multidisciplinary engineering environments
