Airswift is proud to be recruiting for a leading global energy company on a fast-track offshore development project. We are seeking an experienced Instrumentation Leader to join a multidisciplinary team delivering FPSO and subsea solutions. As Instrumentation Leader, you will be the technical focal point for all instrumentation activities across FPSO, subsea, and O&M packages. Your mission is to ensure reliability, availability, and maintainability of offshore facilities while optimizing operational costs and safeguarding integrity.

Job Responsibility:

  • Approve instrumentation scope and contractor technical proposals for FPSO and subsea packages
  • Define and implement maintenance strategies (spares, plans, outsourcing) and monitor effectiveness
  • Act as SECE Guardian for instrumented systems, ensuring compliance with safety and certification standards
  • Oversee commissioning readiness, baseline data collection, and technical records
  • Optimize OPEX and manage obsolescence strategies
  • Coordinate with maintenance teams for hand-over and provide technical expertise to resolve site issues
  • Participate in audits, contractor evaluations, and training plan reviews

Requirements:

  • Engineering degree in Instrumentation, Automation, or Electrical
  • 5+ years’ experience in instrumentation and maintenance management within offshore oil & gas
  • Strong knowledge of instrumentation maintenance systems, SECE, and CMMS (SAP PM, Maximo)
  • Proven ability to manage reliability, spares strategy, and commissioning processes
  • Fluent in English or French (professional level)
  • Leadership, analytical skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-site environment
