Job Description:

Will assist in drafting, developing designs, editing specifications, and other duties as necessary to complete projects.

Job Responsibility:

  • Assist in the design and development of I&C plans and drawings using AutoCAD and Revit
  • Assist in the research, planning and design of projects for clients under the supervision of an engineer
  • Apply knowledge of design, construction procedures, and building codes to design and production work
  • Prepare or assist in preparing material quantity estimates
  • Coordinate with other departments as needed

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 2 years’ related experience is required
  • Experience with electrical conceptual designs, methods and materials specifications
  • Experience in communication networks design, implementation, troubleshooting and optimization
  • Working knowledge and experience using MS Office, AutoCAD and 3D modeling software such as Inventor, Plant 3D and or Revit
  • Must be able to travel, domestically & internationally, to other M3 offices and project sites to provide field support for new and ongoing projects
  • Must be able to work in a project team and maintain a project schedule, be a self-starter, detail-oriented and have exceptional organizational skills
  • Must be able to interact with clients and co-workers in a professional and respectful manner and work in a team environment sharing roles and responsibilities, with limited supervision
  • A valid passport or the ability to obtain one is required

Nice to have:

  • Previous mining experience, EP, EPCM
  • Modicon, Allen-Bradley Programmable Controllers, Schneider’s Unity Pro, Wonderware, Citect and other platforms will be a plus
  • DCS experience preferred
  • Bilingual English / Spanish abilities
  • Experience working on multidiscipline design and construction projects
