Job Description

This position is part of a multi-skilled team within Central Maintenance at Tippecanoe Laboratories. Operator I Production supports capital and maintenance efforts to maximize equipment uptime. The role involves collaboration with maintenance, reliability, automation, plant/process engineering, and operations.

Job Responsibility

  • Perform maintenance and troubleshooting on instrumentation and lab equipment
  • Execute preventative maintenance tasks to ensure equipment compliance
  • Accurately document all work activities and time in SAP
  • Follow written procedures and verbal instructions while adhering to safety and quality standards
  • Learn and apply company policies, procedures, and departmental functions
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including maintenance, engineering, and operations
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to ESHS protocols and PPE requirements
  • Participate in required training and demonstrate continuous improvement in job performance
  • Respond to scheduled and unscheduled maintenance requests as needed
  • Ensure compliance with cGMP standards to maintain product quality (SISPQ)

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of industrial instrumentation experience
  • Associate’s degree in Electronics Technology or applicable technical training
  • Ability to read and interpret manufacturer service manuals
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team and with a diverse customer base
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in computer applications such as Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Excellent planning, organizational, and documentation abilities
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety and proper use of PPE
  • Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs., work in confined spaces, at heights, and in varying environmental conditions (hot or cold conditions)
