Leicestershire Fire and Rescue Service are recruiting for an Instructor. The Training and Development department plays a vital role in keeping our communities safe by supporting the development of our firefighters and providing a high-quality training service. This is a challenging but immensely rewarding position.
Job Responsibility:
Provide training to both operational personnel and support staff
Supporting the knowledge, skill and behavioural development of firefighters
Delivering a high-quality training service
Training could include driving, firefighting, work at height, water rescue, hazardous materials, trauma care and/or incident command
Requirements:
Instructor qualifications
Experience of delivering training relevant to operational firefighting
Ability to think fast
Confidence working in a busy environment, presenting, coaching and mentoring situations
