Kansas State University’s Olathe campus invites qualified scholars and professionals to apply for part-time, temporary instructor pool. The instructor will teach online courses for the Veterinary Biomedical Sciences (VBS) Master’s degree program. Instruction should support graduate students pursuing advanced study in pathobiology and related veterinary biomedical sciences fields. Instructor positions are non-tenure-track members of the faculty. Positions vary and are dependent upon the need, if any, each semester for the instruction of course(s) contingent on enrollment and staffing. The primary role is instruction with no obligations to perform research or service. The appointment dates will vary based on the type of appointment and the timeframe for the preparation and instruction of the course(s).

Requirements
Master's degree in veterinary biomedical sciences, pathobiology, immunology, infectious disease, toxicology, epidemiology, animal sciences, or a closely related field
Minimum of five (5) years of relevant professional, research, clinical, or instructional experience
Candidates must meet the qualifications necessary to be considered for associate graduate faculty status to teach graduate courses
Nice to have
Doctorate degree (PhD) in a field listed under the minimum degree qualifications or a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM)
University-level teaching experience
Experience with asynchronous course design and delivery
Experience teaching graduate-level coursework in online environments
