Instructor, Paramedicine (Laboratory & Simulation Preparation)

• Ambulance deep clean & operational setup
• Equipment inventory & categorization
• Storage system set-up
• Simulation room configuration
• Instructional equipment preparation (instructor demonstration packages and scenarios equipment packages)
• General lab organization and cleanup
• Simulation equipment maintenance

• An Advanced Care Paramedic Diploma or Primary Care Paramedic certificate
• Preference given to individuals with a relevant Bachelors degree and applicants with additional BLS, ACLS, PALS, ITLS, and NRP certification/instructor status
• Minimum one year direct ACP/PCP field experience preferred
• Current, unrestricted registration as an Advanced Care Paramedic or Primary Care Paramedic with the Alberta College of Paramedics, and a member in good standing
• Solid knowledge of the Alberta College of Paramedics professional practice standards
• Able to work independently to meet set timelines and produce deliverables with minimal supervision
• Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills
• Experience with high-fidelity simulation equipment and running skills scenarios or interprofessional education scenarios is preferred
• A dependable and resourceful team member with a proven track record of managing multiple priorities

• Relevant Bachelors degree

• NRP certification/instructor status
• Experience with high-fidelity simulation equipment and running skills scenarios or interprofessional education scenarios
