Job Responsibility

Develop/revise/update courses, including consulting with the Chair, faculty, advisory committees, and potential employers and students
Engage in program development, assisting with the program Chairs, and participating in committee work in support of the department, division, or College
Responsible for developing teaching materials for individualized and group instruction, and incorporate technology into the learning process, where applicable
Carrying out regularly scheduled instruction, ensuring students awareness of course objectives, approach and evaluation techniques, as well as, recruitment, tutoring and academic counseling of students
Teaching responsibilities may include theory, lab, and/or clinical. This may involve evenings and weekends on occasion which will be scheduled in advance

3 years of occupational experience in the subject field or in a closely related field
Direct patient care experience within the previous five (5) years in the nursing area to which he or she is assigned, which can be met by: (A) One (1) year’s continuous, full-time or its equivalent experience providing direct patient care as a registered nurse in the designated nursing area
OR (B) One (1) academic year of registered nurse level clinical teaching experience in the designated nursing area or its equivalent that demonstrates clinical competency
