Instructor I, College for Kids

• Report to work punctually and adhere to the agreed-upon work schedule, timeliness of work hour entries
• Communicate with the College for Kids Coordinator and accompanying staff members efficiently and effectively throughout the program via verbal communication, phone call, or email
• Responsible for student safety throughout the program, including the completion of Mandatory Reporter Training and other best practices
• Responsible for the creation of the course curriculum, which includes clear learning objectives aligning with C4K’s overall program objectives
• Create and deliver daily lesson plans with daily supply needs to the C4K Coordinator prior to the start of the program
• Demonstrate a sensitivity toward and respect for the myriad of diversities represented in the College for Kids program
• Work with colleagues to select appropriate textbooks and course materials while abiding by program decisions for said materials
• Maintain student attendance records and roster(s)
• Participate in the necessary training and mandatory in-person orientation for College for Kids
• Abide by the mission of Aims Community College
• Support the values of Aims Community College
• Opportunity to participate and/or lead activities during break/lunch time
• Other duties as assigned

• Classroom Teaching experience
