The Department of Entrepreneurship and Innovation at Texas Christian University invites applications and nominations for a position as Instructor of Entrepreneurship and Associate Director for the TCU Neeley Institute of Entrepreneurship and Innovation within the Neeley School of Business. Employment is expected to begin in January or August 2026. The successful candidate is expected to demonstrate significant accomplishments in both the teaching and practice of entrepreneurship. The position is a faculty appointment with primary responsibilities in teaching undergraduate and/or graduate courses in the Department of Entrepreneurship and Innovation, along with duties as Associate Director of the TCU Neeley Institute for Entrepreneurship and Innovation—focused on managing and expanding institute programs—and contributions to departmental service.

Requirements:
Candidates for the position should possess (or expect completion by start date) an earned master’s in entrepreneurship, business management or a closely related discipline
Experience teaching courses in the area of entrepreneurship
Experience in external relations, events planning and management
Experience in running pitch competitions
Experience in running mentoring programs and workshops
Experience developing processes, procedures, and protocols to improve the operations of a new or existing program
Ability to assess diverse stakeholder needs and create appropriate solutions
Exceptional organization skills and attention to detail, including complex or technical content
High degree of professionalism when working with diverse constituencies to represent the organization
Ability to prioritize, pivot, and excel in a fast-paced, rapidly changing startup environment
Knowledge of a variety of administrative operations activities such as events planning, budgeting, financial analysis, basic fundraising processes, short-and long-range planning, and human resources
Excellent interpersonal communication skills including verbal and written, active listening, critical thinking, persuasiveness, advising, and counseling skills
Exceptional problem-solving and customer service skills
